The trusted leader in homeless Rescue and Recovery services since 1949

Imagine you’re on the streets with no money, no home to go to, and no family to help you. Where will your next meal come from? Where will you sleep tonight? Who can you trust?

Waterfront Rescue Mission’s Mobile Campus offers 110 beds for Program clients and overnight guests. Non-Program Guests may spend up to 10 nights at the Missions each month (which includes inclement weather nights) with an optional co-pay benefit for extended stays.

People fall into homelessness for many reasons. For some, it’s substance abuse, but for others, who have worked hard all their life, an unexpected illness, loss of employment, or simply the rising costs of living had become overwhelming.

Waterfront Rescue Mission of Mobile believes that everyone deserves a safe, warm place to sleep, and since 1949 the Mission has provided such a place right here in Mobile. Every night, dozens of men seek refuge at the Mission. Each year, our Mobile Campus provides nearly 25,000 nights of safe shelter to homeless men and more than 58,000 meals to the hungry in our community.

Emergency shelter guests receive a safe place to sleep, a nutritious breakfast, lunch and dinner, hot showers and fresh clothing. Never before has the need to care for those less fortunate been more pressing. The Mission impacts Mobile and surrounding communities by providing these vital services.
